Well, we just got home not long ago from Circle Square Ranch in Orillia, ON. I must say that Pris and I enjoyed meeting so many of you that were there. We were so blessed to worship with you; to pray with you; and to see God get a hold of your lives. As you return to “business as usual” tomorrow, remember what God has done in your life this weekend and begin to share your faith/experience with others. I will write more on this past weekend later on, but right now i will go and finish watching the closing ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics! (I’m so glad Canada beat USA!)

So for some time now I have been having some difficulty sleeping. The problem isn’t so much falling asleep as it is staying asleep. I usually wake up somewhere around 2am and just toss and turn! Trying to figure things out still. So far, I’ve tried drinking water and going back to bed …no help! I’ve tried going to the “restroom” …no help! I’ve tried praying (because i thought maybe God was telling me something) …no help! And lastly, of course, I’ve tried playing on my iPhone and, …no help!
So I’ve reverted back to just tossing and turning for now.
I wanna give a shout-out to Pris for her patience with me and her concern!
I’ll let you know as things progress (and i have been to the doctors recently to start figuring this out)
I’ve been waiting a long time to hear some new and fresh music. John Mayer’s Battle Studies has been a very good listen but what I’ve been really waiting for is the new releases from Starfield and Deluge.
Starfield hits us up with their 4th album, The Saving One, and to be honest, they seem get to better with age! I heard them play a couple of tunes off their new album and it is intense! Also, their drummer, Dave Lalonde is a local boy from Ontario.
As for Deluge, their raw recording from Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where Jonathan Stockstill and The Deluge Band lead 7000 worshippers at their annual “Upside Down” Youth Convention was just amazing. This, their follow up album is sounding sweet. check out a video here of their rehearsal of the song “deeper”.

One of my newer hobbies is learning Adobe After Effects. I am by no means a pro but just wanted to share a link. Video Copilot has some incredible tutorials for all kinds of effects. The video tutorials are high quality and are a little long but you will get the desired results if you stick with it. I wouldn’t recommend this for the beginner but it doesn’t hurt to try. Enjoy!
Can you believe it? It’s almost been 9 months since we got married. we finally approved our art book and look forward to getting all our pics in a nice and modern way. Pris and I both agree that if you are having a wedding in T-dot, you definitely should check out ikonica
