God Doesn’t Like Teasing

The following is a post that I wrote back when I first started in full-time ministry in 2005. Five years later, and I am glad that nothing has changed (in this context):

“I am honored to be in ministry and I am in it for life baby!!! Wherever He leads me, wherever He takes me, I am going all the way! God is looking for people who are NOT WILLING to play the tease. These people are those who say “I will serve you Lord” on Sunday and then live in sin the rest of the week and find themselves in a constant struggle. Nope! God is looking for those who are willing to go all the way and serve Him with all they’ve got! We all have “this ministry” - the ministry of testifying about the Good News, which displays the Goodness of God!

A lot has transpired since I first started off, but the call on my life has never changed. God doesn’t fall in and out of love like we do. Let’s stop playing the tease. Instead, let’s fully commit our lives to Him so that He could find us faithful and dependable.

Keep your head up and serve him in any capacity you can!
