This sounds funny now that I am writing it out, but I actually really first “noticed” Jeff Somers when he sponsored my site with an ad for Feb 2011. Before that point, I only saw a couple of tweets and RTs with his name attached to them.
With that being said, before we move on, please note that this post is not focused on writing about a site sponsor. This post is here because his blog, WorshipPeriod.com, is one that I think is a great resource for worship leaders.
In his own words, here’s a digest of WorshipPeriod.com:
“WorshipPeriod.com is the culmination of everything I am and have to give. I’m passionate about the local church and will serve her in some capacity ’til the day I die. This website is my attempt to share anything I have to offer with regard to worship, creativity and leadership – some of it by gifting, blessing and success…much more of it by tough lessons, mistakes, scars and heaps of grace. I don’t claim to be an expert or the best at what I do, and I’m clear that many folks who’ll read this will be more gifted and experienced than I. I’m just here to offer what I can in hopes that it will add some value to the journey of other worshippers and creators.”
I love reading what Jeff has to say and I love his sincerity! What’s more, is that WorshipPeriod.com super cool! I didn’t believe it at first, but did you know that there’s literally an app for that?
Here’s how you can connect with Jeff and W.
