Carey Price Prays For Max Pacioretty?

March 10, 2011 — 2 Comments

You be the judge, but to anyone who grew up in church like me, Carey Price looked like a pastor at an altar call reaching to lay a hand and pray over somebody (begins at the 2:06 mark):

And now listen to his comments after the game (48-second mark):

I am a huge fan of Carey Price and those of you who know me, know that I’ve been praying for him since last year.

Proud of You Carey

Pic I took at Habs vs Buffalo game on Jan. 18 - Buffalo, NY.

I’ve already done so, but if you want to leave an encouraging word for Patches please do so.

Hey Jon, I like the blog, and as a hardcore Bruins fan I wanna say that YES, the hit was one of those make me wanna vomit what I just ate moments, but I chose to believe Chara did not want to injure “Patches”. I believe the hit was legal and so does the NHL considering he didn’t get suspended. Living in Montreal has not been easy for a Bruins fan these past couple of days. Everyone seems to see Chara when speaking to me about the incident and I’ve been getting “all kinds” of attitude! I think it’s enough with this story and we should continue our lives as usual. Max is doing fine and he’s getting better every day according to doctors, so to ALL Habs fans….MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES! I’m reminded of the bible story of the judging of the prostitute. Jesus came in to the picture and asked the guards who were about to stone her due to her actions to think about themselves for a moment and to determine which one of them was without sin. This Chara story relates perfectly, well, not perfectly, but you get my point! I chalange any “perfect” Habs fan to throw the first stone at Chara…….

Thanks for sharing bro. Interesting perspective. I do think that it has been blown out of proportion now, but in any case the Habs fans will have an even greater reason to boo Chara next time he visits the Bell Centre
